Request Transcripts

Understanding Transcripts
Transcripts are typically considered OFFICIAL if they are signed by a school official, sealed in an envelope, and mailed directly to a school. All other versions are typically considered UNOFFICIAL. Some schools have made exceptions to this, and will outline what they will accept as official. It is the student's responsibility to check with their post-secondary institution for what they consider to be official.
Colleges and universities will request transcripts from students upon applying to the school, may ask for a mid-year transcript to check first semester of Senior year grades, and then all will request an OFFICIAL, FINAL transcript upon the student accepting the seat at that school.
Official, final transcripts are important for students to send to their selected university or college. They are not ready to be finalized and sent until the middle of the summer after graduation. Requests for final transcripts can be made prior to graduation, and once transcripts are available for pick up, students and parents can come in to pick them up.
Ordering Transcripts
Current Students
To order transcripts, please: complete the Transcript Request Form. You can email the form to your counselor or drop the form off at the Guidance/Student Services main desk. Forms are readily available to fill out at our main desk.
The cost for each paper transcript is $2.00, cash or check only. For seniors, the first printed transcript is free.
Unofficial electronic transcripts (emailed or sent via FASTER) are free.
You can pay when you drop off the form or when you pick up the transcripts IF not electronic.
FINAL transcripts for Seniors are now available for pick up and requests are being processed.
The electronic transcript sent via FASTER/SPEEDE to an institution may take up to two weeks to process. It is the student's responsibility to verify that the electronic transcript has been received.
Per District policy, and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) school records will not be released without parent/guardian consent. If students are 18 years of age or older, records will not be released to a parent/guardian without the student’s written consent.
Initial transcripts are for current students and for seniors who need the information for scholarship applications, applying to colleges, or to just to review their course history. FINAL transcripts for seniors are the ones sent to the college or university once you commit and will show that you have successfully completed the requirements for graduation and include your graduation date. Please make sure you choose the correct form.
