Important Dates and Events

Graduation will be held on May 22, 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Satellite High School Stadium.

Tickets are required for every guest to attend the graduation ceremony and each senior receives 10 tickets. These tickets are distributed at the conclusion of graduation practice, held the day before graduation. Students will not receive tickets prior to graduation practice.

• Senior Yearbook Photos should be completed by November 1st, 2026 to be in the yearbook!

  • Book your Senior Photo Session with Dean Stewart here: https://dsp-photo.com/BookNow.html

    • You will select your yearbook photo out of all of the photos they take on their website.

  • If you do not want a session, Dean Stewart will be on campus Friday, October 31st from 9 AM - 2 PM for any seniors who want to take just the yearbook photo in the black and white formal senior photo clothing/drapery, which will be provided.

• Senior Yearbook Ads

  • For our graduating seniors, we have special deals to save money by purchasing a full page ad and a yearbook for $430 or a half page ad and yearbook for $280. This special pricing will end 10/31/25. Smaller ads are also available.

The City of Satellite Beach is once again preparing its annual Senior Graduation Banners, to be displayed down Jackson Ave, and would like to offer every Class of 2026 graduate the opportunity to be recognized.

• Cost: $20.00 per banner

• Payment Location: David R. Schechter Community Center

• Payment Deadline: April 10

Community Center staff will assist families with payment and ensure banners are ordered for your graduate.

• Junior/Senior Prom - Saturday, April 11th at the Melbourne Auditorium from 7 PM - 10 PM.

  Entry must be by 9PM.

  • Seniors and Juniors can attend: 2026 Junior & Senior Prom Form

    • If you choose to print your form or forms, MAKE sure to print, fill out, and sign both sides of the Junior Senior Prom form. You and your parent must sign both sides.

  • Seniors are allowed to bring a guest: Senior Only Guest Form

  • Guest forms are due no later than March 31, 2026, at 3:30 pm to Ms. DellaRocco in the Dean's Office.

    • If you are bringing a guest, print out both sides of the Guest Form. They need to take the form to their administrator to sign this week. They and their parent need to sign both sides. You will need to turn it in to the Dean's Office by March 31st at 330 pm.

    • ONLY during lunch starting on March 20, 2026, until April 9, 2026 your form will be accepted if you have no obligations or excessive absences.

    • If you have an obligation or excessive absences, you will not be allowed to attend prom.

  • Seniors, please complete the Satellite High School Award Recognition Form for awards and scholarships received by Tuesday, April 21. 

    • Examples of awards recognized at this ceremony include: any scholarship/grant awards (except Bright Futures), military academy appointments, military enlistment, Eagle Scout/Girl Scout Gold recipients, major community awards, science fair and other academic awards/recognitions.  Athletic scholarship recognition is deferred to signing ceremonies, and Bright Futures final eligibility is not determined until August 2026 and therefore is not included in this event.

GRAD BASH PARENT FORMS ARE HERE!
Please read carefully!
Parent permission forms are linked, but if you do not have access to a printer, you can pick one up from the following locations: 

• Front Office

• Guidance/Student Services Office

• Mrs. Vitaliano's classroom (8-206)

Forms will need to be notarized since they are out of county and overnight! (A common place to notarize forms are at your local bank. Typically it is free if you go to a bank that you or your parents bank with. The notary will sign that they witnessed your parents signing the form.)
Collection of your completed and notarized forms will begin the following week on Thursday, February 19th and continue through the following week, ending Friday, February 27th. Forms will be collected during all 3 lunches on the patio or can be dropped off at Mrs. Vitaliano's classroom. 
You will receive an invoice on your FOCUS account for payment once your form is turned in.

  • This event must be planned by Senior parents. If you are interested in planning the baccalaureate service for future graduating classes to be held before graduation in May, you can reach out to the Senior Class Sponsor to help you with getting connected to other parents/relevant parties to get started!

We would like to extend a thank you to Bagel World for supporting our seniors with yard signs.

• Pickup Date: Friday, TBD (once signs are printed)- Should be within the next couple of weeks

While there, seniors are encouraged to wave to friendly faces from Satellite High School and the community and make their mark by signing Bagel World’s parking lot post as a lasting Class of 2026 memory.

The City of Satellite Beach Senior Parade will take place on:

• Date: Saturday, May 16

• Time: 10:00 AM

• Starting Location: West Parking Lot

Families are encouraged to decorate their vehicles and join in celebrating our seniors as they parade through the community. The City will share the parade route soon.

Important Safety Reminder:
In accordance with Florida Statutes §§ 316.614 and 316.2015, passengers must remain seated. Standing up in a moving vehicle is prohibited. Vehicles will be removed from the parade if this safety law is violated.

• Senior Survey -  All seniors must fill out our 2026 Senior Survey prior to May 2026 DATE TBD.

  • The Senior Survey must be completed to obtain graduation tickets.

  • Friday, May 14th (6th and 7th periods)

  • Monday, May 18th (4th and 5th periods)

  • Tuesday, May 19th ( 2nd and 3rd periods)

• Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 9 AM in the SHS Auditorium

  • Senior Picnic - Immediately after graduation practice

• Friday, May 22, 2026 at 7 PM at the Satellite High Football Stadium

• Mid to Late June post-graduation. The district has to finalize all student records before transcripts can be released. Students who plan to pick up their free printed transcript can complete the form here: FINAL TRANSCRIPT FORM and can email to the Registrar or drop off to the Guidance office. Pre-printed copies of the request form are also available in the office and will be available at Graduation Practice and the Ceremony.
