play

The Satellite High School Theatre Arts Department is thrilled to present "Theatre Is Life!"—a captivating showcase of three one-act plays that highlight the humor, charm, and quirks of the theatre world. This special performance will take place on November 15 and 16 at 7 p.m. in the SHS Auditorium.

Audiences will be treated to the following three works:

1. “Sure Thing” by David Ives – A witty exploration of chance and connection, where two characters repeatedly restart their conversation in pursuit of the perfect moment.

2. “The Complete History of Theatre (abridged)” by Matt Thomson – A hilarious whirlwind journey through the ages, offering a lighthearted look at the entire history of theatre in a condensed, laugh-out-loud format.

3. “No Show” by Alan Haehnel – A meta-theatrical piece that dives into the pandemonium of a play that seemingly lacks actors, yet the show must go on.

Tickets are priced at $10 and are available online HERE .

Join us for a delightful evening of theatre, celebrating the magic, mishaps, and timeless appeal of live performance!

This event is presented with permissions from Brooklyn Publishers, Dramatists Play Service, and Dramatic Publishing.
