The Interagency Council of Brevard and the Office of Student Services, Program Support, are thrilled to host the annual START Transition Conference on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Viera High School. This free event is designed to support families, students, and educators in navigating the transition from high school to post-secondary opportunities and beyond.
Who Should Attend?
The START Conference is open to everyone but is especially valuable for:
Families of students with unique abilities.
Educators and staff who support Exceptional Student Education (ESE).
Students preparing for life after high school.
What to Expect
Attendees will have access to:
Keynote Speaker: Jason Kostrzewa, a Project Search Intern, who will share his inspiring journey of self-advocacy, followed by a Q&A session.
Resource Fair: Community agencies and programs will be present to provide information and resources about transition planning.
Workshops and Sessions: Focused on topics such as employment, independent living, and educational opportunities after high school.
