Satellite High School proudly congratulates senior Brianna Knight on being named a Semifinalist for the prestigious Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship! Only 1.08% of applicants advanced to this round, placing Brianna among an exceptional group of student leaders nationwide.
A total of 1,227 high school seniors were selected as semifinalists after submitting applications highlighting their leadership, community service, extracurricular involvement, accomplishments, and academic achievements. These students stood out as service-oriented leaders making a positive impact in their schools and communities. Brianna will continue competing for one of just 150 scholarships worth $20,000 each to support college.
Brianna’s achievement is especially meaningful to Satellite High School. As Student Body President and one of the founding students of the school’s first Leadership Class with Principal Lundy, she has helped shape a culture of leadership, service, and school pride. Her contributions extend beyond campus through her involvement in environmental conservation, community service, and youth leadership. From founding Satellite’s first College and Career Fair to leading service initiatives and contributing more than 800 volunteer hours through the Brevard Zoo Teen Program, Brianna exemplifies what it means to lead with purpose.
The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation shares a commitment to recognizing and empowering young leaders. As Foundation President Jane Hale Paulsen stated in the scholarship announcement, “We believe that identifying these young leaders throughout the country and encouraging their passion for serving others not only empowers the students but also lifts up those around them.” The Foundation’s recognition reflects the importance of students like Brianna, whose leadership and dedication make a difference in their communities.
Satellite High School is incredibly proud of Brianna and all she continues to contribute to our school and beyond. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition, Brianna, and best of luck in the next stage of the competition!
