Picture day is much earlier than it has been in the past. It is Thursday, August 15th!
Students will go to take their photos during the following periods:
9th graders through World History or APHUG
10th graders through their Science (Chem/Bio/Env Sci)
11th & 12th graders through English
EFSC students without a grade level class listed above will need to go to the auditorium preferably 4th period (but any time during the day when possible).

Planning and collaboration may be ending today -- on paper -- but our staff will continue to support one another through the school year! This past week of pre-planning felt great to reconnect after the summer and get back into the classroom! - Elimination of the need to provide two proofs of residence verification.
- Modified language to make it more parent friendly.
- Reduction of required signatures from 11 to ONLY 1!
The Annual Re-enrollment form will be OPEN on July 8, 2024. These forms can be accessed in your FOCUS portal under your student's name in the FORMS SUMMARY section, and MUST be completed before August 12, 2024.

Hip hip hooray to the Class of 2024! May your future adventures be filled with excitement and endless possibilities!

Portfolio students Payton Hayworth, Abiail Wheeler and Katie Russell have completed our newest interactive public artwork located in the Bldg. 6 vestibule. It is called “Spread Your Wings & Fly.” We would like to invite all SHS graduating seniors down to stand in front of the wings for a photo op (on their own phones) in commemoration of this special time in their lives as they transition from high school to higher education and careers.

April 16th SHS Wind Ensemble shared the stage with University of Florida Symphonic Band. Their stellar performances throughout this year earned them an invite from the university faculty. Following the performance, the students were able to tour the campus and visit the infamous "Swamp" Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
